| CEEP Update
As services are all aware Creating Connections Education Employment Pathways (CEEP) Round 3 applications have been processed, with applicants receiving letters informing them of the outcome and some have started spending the funding.
Round 3 attracted 28 applications with a large percent of funding being asked for again around travel, computer / internet access, driving lessons and licences.
A reminder to all services applying for CEEP funding that:
- all questions on the application form need to be answered
- there is a need to be mindful of the amount of appropriate and confidential information that is being given
- sourcing the most financially viable option for computers / printer is recommended
- applications must be typed and sent via email with signed consent forms faxed before the rounds closing date
- it is the responsibility of the agencies to fill in and return the 3 monthly and 6 monthly forms
With future rounds all items that are approved are done so within the constraints of the funding.
Creating Connections Education Employment Pathways (CEEP) is a YHAP initiative aimed at strengthening planned pathways to independence through engagement in education, employment and training. CEEP brokerage funds are available to young people aged 15-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and who are supported by a homelessness assistance service (SAAP) to access education and employment options.
To apply for CEEP funds please complete the online application form and email to ceep@mcm.org.au
